In our surgery we see all sorts of damaged laptops, from mains socket damage where the lead has been snagged to total destruction by driving over it in a car. Rarely does a laptop repair cost less than £150 and over 50% of those we see are written off as uneconomic.

At the time of purchase, nobody wants to think about their pride and joy having an accident. But this is the only time that insurers will accept an accident insurance policy.
