How it works

Please Note
This service is available for Windows laptops.

If the cost of the parts required exceeds £350 we will inform you and give you the option of having your unit returned, we will also refund your money, less £30.00 shipping fee.

If the repair is likely to take longer than 90 days, we will arrange for your unit to be returned to you and we will refund your money, most repairs are completed 10-15 days.

Liquid damage or physical damage to the case are not covered

A deposit in advance is always required unless you have an approved credit account with Computer Doctors Ltd.

If a fault to the laptop's mainboard is diagnosed you will be offered a motherboard repair. This represents half the cost of a replacement motherboard.

Replaced faulty motherboard components are included in the cost.

The repair is covered by a 3 months warranty.

Price includes vat but parts are charged separately.

You bring your PC to our surgery, no need to book.

We diagnose the fault and if necessary ship the laptop to a specialist repairer.

On return we test the PC

We then run hardware diagnostics to ensure the remaining components are working correctly. (This is only possible with a working mainboard)

We bench test the laptop to ensure stability.

A mainboard repair is an alternative to a replacement but may not always be economic. Please read mainboard terms & conditions.
