| An engineer will attend your home or office
to repair your PC on-site.
We will arrange a timed booking with you, prior to the visit,
to ensure that you do not have to wait in all day for our engineer.
If our engineer is delayed, our office will telephone you before
the appointment to let you know and give you an estimate of
the arrival time.
Domestic Users:
A call out charge of £30 is included in the first hour charge of £60. If our engineer fixes the fault within 10 minutes or cannot reproduce the fault then the call out fee of £30 is charged.
If the repair takes longer than 1 hour and you wish the engineer
to carry on, we charge in half hour units.
Business users:
All hours are charged, minimum 1 hour.
Our engineers carry out 90% of domestic repairs and 55% of business repairs within the first hour.

to call at a convenient time. We have engineers in your area
and can often arrange an appointment for the same day or next
working day.
Our engineer will arrive at the appointed
time and examine your PC. Most repairs can be carried out
on the spot, we stock our vans with parts for most popular makes.
If the engineer has to return to our workshop for a part, this
time is not included in the charge.
On completion of the work our engineer
can accept cash, cheque or credit / debit cards as payment.
(30 Day accounts are available to bona-fide business).
We give 12 months guarantee on any parts changed and 30 days on software configuration. (Excludes later configuration changes made by the user or malware). |
This service is available for Windows PC's, laptops, peripherals and accessories.
If our engineer thinks that a hardware diagnostics or other
workshop facility is appropriate, he will, with your permission,
collect your PC to our workshop. In this instance, only the call out charge will be charged plus an appropriate fixed price charge
for a workshop repair.
This cost includes returning
your PC after repair.
The call out charge is to cover our, not insignificant,
costs in getting the engineer to you. It is payable in all
cases even if the repair is carried out quickly or if the engineer
is unable to reproduce the fault.
It is important that you, or your representative if you are not available, check to make sure the repair has been carried out to your satisfaction, before the engineer leaves.
Payment on completion is always required unless you have an approved credit account with Computer Doctors Ltd. |
